팀 탈출의 기록_19 독일 제약 회사 2차 면접

 

독일 제약 회사는 아직도 결과가 안나왔다. 

그래서 메일을 보내봄. 

결과는 언제 나오냐? ㅋㅋㅋ

reviewing and shortlisting을 도대체 얼마나 할거니. 답답이들아...

이 회사는 같은 포지션을 내가 면접을 보는 시기에도 계속 링크드인에 올리고 있었다. 진짜 계속 사람을 모으고 그 중에서 몇명을 추리는 거 같은데 이번에 내가 통과를 한다고 하더라도 최종 합격이 될지 모르겠네? ㅡ.ㅡ

링크드인에 올린 포스팅은 몇명이 지원했는지 카운팅이 되는데, 8명, 10명이 찍힌 게시글이 두 번 있었다. 

내가 처음 지원했을 때는 몇명인지 모르지만 그걸 통과하고, 1차도 통과했던 것을 보면 나쁘지 않은것 같은데...

이러다가 내일 월요일인데 불합격 통보 올지도 모른다 ㅋㅋ 

X명 + 8 명 + 10명 =??

그러다가 며칠 전 미국에 있는 헤드헌터에게 갑자기 메일을 받았다. 

100% 리모트 포지션인데 지원해 보겠냐?

I am heading up a search with one of my top clients, a pre-clinical biotech pioneering a new class of fully personalized T cell therapies to treat caner in Southern CA. This biotech is looking to bring on a Director - Executive Director of OOO to expand the OOO department. The position requires past experience in cellular therapies and will be the OOO team Lead.

This exciting Pre-IPO company recently raised $OOO MIL in Series A financing and have an experience leadership team in the cell therapy space!

Based on your background I think you may be a good fit! The team offers a very competitive base , an annual bonus target, large chunks of equity, 401K and 100% REMOTE (unable to sponsor VISA). 

When are you available today or tomorrow to discuss next steps?

연봉은 미국에서 받을 수 있는 돈을 받으면서 거주는 내가 원하는 곳에서 할 수 있다면 엄청 좋은데? 근데 미국회사는 사람을 밥 먹듯이 짜르는 것은 좀 위험하기는 하지만...

근데 이 양아치 같은 헤드헌터는 내가 답을 보냈더니 답이 없다. 

이 포지션은 결국에 지원을 못할거 같지만, 코로나 시대, 그리고 미국에는 지금 경험있는 사람이 엄청 구하기 어렵다는 현실을 생각하면 외국인에게 100% 리모트를 지원해 주는 바이오텍이 생긴거 같아서 신기하다. 

 

일단 상황을 좀 지켜보면서 미국 영주권 신청도 시작을 해야겠다.
